SUMMARY:Get the Led Out
DESCRIPTION:Get the Led Out appears March 4 at the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet\, IL! \nFrom the bombastic and epic\, to the folky and mystical\, Get The Led Out (GTLO) have captured the essence of the recorded music of Led Zeppelin and brought it to the concert stage. The Philadelphia-based group consists of six veteran musicians intent on delivering Led Zeppelin live\, like you’ve never heard before. Utilizing the multi-instrumentalists at their disposal\, GTLO re-create the songs in all their depth and glory with the studio overdubs that Zeppelin themselves never performed. When you hear three guitars on the album\, GTLO delivers three guitarists on stage. No wigs or fake English accents\, GTLO brings what the audience wants – a high energy Zeppelin concert with an honest\, heart-thumping intensity. \nDubbed by the media as “The American Led Zeppelin\,” Get The Led Out offers a strong focus on the early years. They also touch on the deeper cuts that were seldom\, if ever heard in concert. GTLO also include a special “acoustic set” with Zep favorites such as “Tangerine” and “Hey Hey What Can I Do.” \nGTLO has amassed a strong national touring history\, having performed at major club and PAC venues across the country. GTLO’s approach to their performance of this hallowed catalog is not unlike a classical performance. “Led Zeppelin are sort of the classical composers of the rock era\,” says lead vocalist Paul Sinclair. “I believe 100 years from now they will be looked at as the Bach or Beethoven of our time. As cliché as it sounds\, their music is timeless.” \nA GTLO concert mimics the “light and shade” that are the embodiment of “The Mighty Zep.” Whether it’s the passion and fury with which they deliver the blues-soaked\, groove-driven rock anthems\, it’s their attention to detail and nuance that makes a Get The Led Out performance a truly awe-inspiring event! \nTickets are on sale now:  https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/07005D68B6682F51

Van Halen\, KISS\, Motley Crue\, Queen\, Journey\, and Aerosmith are but a few of the acts fans will see brought to life. SUMMARY:Buddy Guy - Damn Right Farewell
DESCRIPTION:Buddy Guy – Damn Right Farewell\, appears at the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet\, IL on February 19 at 7PM! \nAt age 86\, Buddy Guy is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee\, a major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix\, Eric Clapton\, and Stevie Ray Vaughan\, a pioneer of Chicago’s fabled West Side sound\, and a living link to the city’s halcyon days of electric blues. Buddy Guy has received 8 GRAMMY Awards\, a 2015 Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award\, 38 Blues Music Awards (the most any artist has received)\, the Billboard Magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement\, a Kennedy Center Honor\, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him #23 in its “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.” \nIn 2019\, Buddy Guy won his 8th and most recent GRAMMY Award for his 18th solo LP\, “The Blues Is Alive And Well”. \nIn July of 2021\, in honor of Buddy Guy’s 85th birthday\, PBS American Masters released “Buddy Guy: The Blues Chase The Blues Away”\, a new documentary following his rise from a childhood spent picking cotton in Louisiana to becoming one of the most influential guitar players of all time. The documentary features new interviews with Buddy Guy\, Carlos Santana\, Eric Clapton\, John Mayer\, Gary Clark Jr\, and more. \nThough Buddy Guy will forever be associated with Chicago\, his story actually begins in Louisiana. One of five children\, he was born in 1936 to a sharecropper’s family and raised on a plantation near the small town of Lettsworth\, located some 140 miles northwest of New Orleans. Buddy was just seven years old when he fashioned his first makeshift “guitar”—a two-string contraption attached to a piece of wood and secured with his mother’s hairpins. \nIn 1957\, he took his guitar to Chicago\, where he would permanently alter the direction of the instrument\, first on numerous sessions for Chess Records playing alongside Howlin’ Wolf\, Muddy Waters\, and the rest of the label’s legendary roster\, and then on recordings of his own. His incendiary style left its mark on guitarists from Jimmy Page to John Mayer. “He was for me what Elvis was probably like for other people\,” said Eric Clapton at Guy’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2005. “My course was set\, and he was my pilot.” \nSeven years later\, July 2012 proved to be one of Buddy Guy’s most remarkable years ever. He was awarded the 2012 Kennedy Center Honor for his lifetime contribution to American culture; earlier in the year\, at a performance at the White House\, he even persuaded President Obama to join him on a chorus of “Sweet Home Chicago.” Also in 2012\, he published his long-awaited memoir\, When I Left Home. \nThese many years later\, Buddy Guy remains a genuine American treasure and one of the final surviving connections to an historic era in the country’s musical evolution. \n  \nTickets are on sale at https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/07005D5AC8F6588E

There are no card tricks and no rabbits popping out of hats\, but when of Chris Jason (Frank Sinatra)\, Drew Anthony (Dean Martin)\, and Kyle Diamond (Sammy Davis Jr.) hit the stage\, it’s there—the same magic that filled the room when these three icons performed at the Sands during the ’60s and ’70s. The Rat Pack is Back For The Holidays takes audiences back to an era when the Strip had live music and entertainers knew how to work the crowd. \nThe Rat Pack banters back and forth with their adoring fans via jokes\, skits and great holiday songs. There is a seven-piece orchestra and don’t be surprised if some friends of the Pack show up and join in the fun. \nTickets are ON SALE NOW at https://www.ticketmaster.com/the-rat-pack-is-back-joliet-illinois-12-17-2022/event/07005CBAD12C36F7

SUMMARY:Postmodern Jukebox: Life in the Past Lane Tour
DESCRIPTION:Postmodern Jukebox brings the Life in the Past Lane Tour to the Pablo Center in Eau Claire\, WI on October 21\, 2022 at 7:30 PM! \nWhen New York City pianist Scott Bradlee created Postmodern Jukebox out of a basement in Queens in 2011\, his goal was simple: to remake the pop hits of today into the classic sounds of the legends of yesterday. Miley Cyrus became The Platters. Bruno Mars became Frank Sinatra. The Spice Girls became The Andrews Sisters. Guns ’n’ Roses became Bessie Smith. \nNow\, nearly a decade later\, Postmodern Jukebox has grown to become a pop culture mainstay in its own right\, having played over a thousand shows on six continents worldwide — including acclaimed venues like Radio City Music Hall\, Sydney Opera House\, and Red Rocks Amphitheater. In the process\, PMJ has introduced audiences to many of the world’s greatest singers\, dancers\, and instrumentalist — many of whom have gone on to become stars in their own right. \nOne part celebration of vintage music and culture\, one part “’Saturday Night Live’ for singers”\, a Postmodern Jukebox show is an unforgettable trip back in time that will make Pop Music History — in Eau Claire\, WI. \nTickets on sale at https://pablocenter.secure.force.com/ticket/#/instances/a0F3u000007QPYsEAO

SUMMARY:Get the Led Out
DESCRIPTION:Get The Led Out\, a musical group that brings the studio recordings of Led Zeppelin to life in concert\, is set to perform at the Coronado Performing Arts Center in Rockford\, IL on October 15 at 7PM! \n  \nTickets are on sale at https://www.ticketmaster.com/event/04005C97E1C52512

Their first public shows were at London University\, following in the footsteps of the real Queen who had played their first shows there 21 years earlier. \nBy 1995 Killer Queen’s UK popularity had grown to such an extent they secured a residency in London’s Strand Theatre attracting nationwide BBC coverage – the first tribute to have a show in the West End . The band’s reputation continued to grow both in the UK and abroad. In 1999 they returned from a tour of and Europe and Russia for an awards ceremony in Leicester Square\, hosted by Suggs from Madness. He announced they had won the award for “Worldwide Best Tribute Band” . \nIn 2016 Killer Queen set their sights on America including the awe inspiring Red Rocks Arena in Colorado – one of the countries most prestigious venues. What an impact! Mirage or Resurection? The group voted best tribute in the world entirely succeeded in resurrecting Freddie Mercury both physically and vocally. You almost believe you were at Wembley Stadium back in 1986. \n– Voix Du Nord. France. \n“Killer Queen took to the stage\, the performance was scarily real. ‘Freddie Mercury’ gave it all he had in his trademark yellow suit – several outfit changes followed. The audience interaction could almost have been rehearsed. The crowd roared\, danced and joined in as though it was a requirement for entry. Brilliant.” \n– The Scotsman on Murrayfield Stadium \nTickets on sale at https://ticket.artsiowa.com/4370-killer-queen
